Our clients love the simplicity of a system with only one amplifier that will do it all! It eliminates the need to take up limited space in their vehicles for multiple amps and crossovers. This very efficient, full-range Class-D amplifier comes in at just 2 by 8 by 14.5 inches, with six powerful channels and all of your crossovers built in.
A Very Flexible Design
This may be one of the most flexible amplifiers on the market. You have a 150 watts RMS x 6 design to start with. It can be bridged and used in three-, four-, five- or six-channel modes. The front four channels can be bridged into 400 watts RMS x 2 into 4 ohms and the back channels are stable at 2 ohms bridged and can generate 600 watts RMS x 1. This amplifier can be used for a component system with a built-in 12dB/octave high pass for the front, high pass or bandpass for the third and fourth channels, and high, low or bandpass for the rear two channels. A subsonic filter for the rear two channels has a very handy wired remote bass knob to fine-tune your bass from the driver’s seat, with a clip light to let you know if the amp is in overload.
Extra Features for Ease of Installation
Focal makes it easy to integrate this amplifier into your vehicle with both low-level and speaker-level inputs (with RCA adaptor). It will turn on with signal sensing when used with the speaker-level input, eliminating the need for a turn-on lead. It will accept 4-gauge power and ground to assure plenty of juice for this powerful amplifier.
