One of our clients brought in this 2016 Dodge Charger to have the windows tinted and to inquire about a bass upgrade. He had bought the car for his son and wanted it to look cool. We have done work on this client’s Audi, Porsche, Infiniti and even his Malibu boat. As a result, he has developed a great ear for quality sound. Even with the factory Beats audio system on board, the client knew this car needed something better. He told us to work our magic on the audio system after we were done with the tint.
For window film, we used Global Films Quick Dry with a 30% light transmission rating. Our expert techs ensured all the windows looked perfect before they handed the car off to the audio and installation team.
For a subwoofer, we chose a JL Audio CS212LG-TW1 pre-fabricated enclosure and an XD600/1 amplifier. We used a PAC Audio AP4-CH41 interface to connect to the factory audio system. To improve the integration of the system, we created a multi-layered trim panel and grille with LED lighting.
The owner and his son were beyond thrilled with the new system. It hits hard and looks amazing!
