The ZZTSL from ZZ2 is a stand-alone computer that interfaces with the Tesla MCU to add these much-desired smartphone connectivity solutions. Once you pair your phone, you can send and listen to text messages, make phone calls, check your schedule and get detailed navigation directions to anywhere in North America using Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze.
The ZZTSL uses Bluetooth to initiate the pairing process, then establishes a Wi-Fi connection for data. You get full integration with Siri and Google Assistant, so you can make requests easily while keeping your eyes on the road. The split-screen display lets you view vital vehicle information, including the safety cameras. You can switch to a full-screen mode in the ZZTSL setup menu if you choose.
The factory touchscreen integrates for intuitive operation of CarPlay or Android Auto functions. You can quickly toggle back to the factory display by tapping an icon at the bottom of the screen.
Full Audio Integration
Whether you want to stream Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, play music stored on your phone, or even listen to a podcast, audio integration with the factory speaker system works seamlessly to keep you entertained. CarPlay hands-free calling uses the factory-installed microphone, and a separate microphone for Android Auto is included for clear outgoing audio.
Seamless Vehicle Integration
The ZZTSL is explicitly designed to work with 2017 through 2024 Model 3 and 2020 through 2024 and early 2025 Model Y Tesla vehicles. The interface doesn’t require any vehicle modifications, and harnesses are provided for both the AMD and Intel infotainment processors. We can upgrade your car even if it’s leased with no trace of the upgrade.
