A client from Saratoga brought the Sea-Doo RXP300 he purchased as a present for his wife directly to California Car Sounds after picking it up. He wanted a stereo system installed on it. We designed something that would sound great and work with his timeline and budget. He loved our plan and asked us to get started right away.
We used a JL Audio MBT-CRX Bluetooth receiver as the source unit for the system. The control panel for the MBT-CRX is mounted right in front of the driver. The output of the MBT-CRX feeds a JL Audio MX500/4 marine amplifier. We configured the amp as a two-channel to provide up to 250 watts to each of the speakers.
For speakers, we wanted something simple to install that sounded great. The new JL Audio PS650-VeX-SG-TMB-LDB VeX speaker pods did the trick. We created a reinforced mount for the pods inside the hull to ensure they would be safe and secure.
The client was stunned with the sound quality of the system. He knew his wife would love it.
