A client from San Jose contacted California Car Sounds and Tint in Campbell to inquire about having strobe lights and a high-output power inverter installed in his 2017 Ford Transit Connect work truck. The client owns and operates a plumbing company and wanted to make sure his staff were able to work efficiently and safely on the jobsite.
We started with the installation of a pair of Tempest Deep Cycle AGM batteries in the cargo area of the van. A high-capacity solenoid and a Stinger fuse holder isolates the rear batteries from the charging system so his employees can do all the work they want without fear of the truck not being able to start. A 3,000 watt PV3000HF Tripp-Lite power inverter allows his staff to run their 120 volt tools.
We installed a set of 120 watt strobes inside the marker lights to ensure that other drivers would be able to see the van if it was parked on the road.
