Morel Nano 602 Features
The MW6 woofers use a carbon-impregnated paper cone for excellent rigidity and damping characteristics. A large 2.16-inch aluminum voice coil former is home to Morel’s proprietary Hexatech aluminum voice coil winding. A compact but efficient neodymium magnet inside the voice coil provides a strong magnetic field for excellent efficiency. The woofers have a nominal impedance of four ohms and are rated to handle 80 watts of power. The system includes a set of steel grilles to protect the face of the woofer once installed.
Premium Low-Resonance Tweeter
The Nano 602 set includes a pair of MT120N 1.1-inch soft-dome Acuflex tweeters. Brackets are included to allow us to flush-mount the tweeter in a door or use the angled surface-mount kit to offset the tweeters by about 30 degrees.
MXR300.2 Passive Crossover Networks
The system includes a pair of passive networks that filter the woofer and tweeter at 2.2kHz. The tweeter has an 18 dB/octave electrical slope while the woofer section has a second-order slope. The output of the tweeter can be adjusted to -2, 0 or +2dB settings using a jumper on the crossover.
Small Size, Big Speaker Performance
