The owner of this 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter was referred to California Car Sounds and Tint by a friend of his. He was looking for a backup camera system to make maneuvering and parking the van safer. We showed the client the Nav-TV Kit483 camera system that is designed specifically for the Sprinter. He liked the look of the kit, so he gave us the go-ahead to schedule the installation.
The Kit483 includes a replacement third brake light with an integrated camera, as well as an interface that displays the camera image on the screen of the OEM infotainment system. It takes awhile to run the wiring neatly through the van and make the connections in the dash, but the Nav-TV kit works fantastically, and the fit and finish re superb.
The client was very pleased with the new camera kit. He noted that it looks like it came from the factory, and works equally well.
