The owners of this immaculate 2012 Ferrari California were referred to us by a previous client. They wanted to have a backup camera system installed in the vehicle. The primary stipulation was for the camera image to be displayed on the factory infotainment system display.
We did a little research and found a kit from Nav TV that would integrate a camera with the factory screen. In fact, the interface supports both front and rear cameras. We planned on using a compact FIT camera on the rear of the vehicle. We showed the clients an Alpine HCE-212F camera for help when parking the vehicle.
Our team took their time mounting the cameras to ensure they were perfectly aligned on the vehicle and that all the wiring was properly secured. Once the installation was complete and tested, the Los Gatos-based clients returned to pick up their Ferrari. We showed them how to use the system. The couple was stunned at how perfectly we fulfilled their request and said we exceeded their expectations.
