A radio upgrade was in order for a client from San Jose with a 2007 Toyota Tundra. He was referred to us by a friend, and brought us his beautiful truck. His older Alpine radio had broken, and he wanted to use the opportunity to upgrade to a better unit with Apple CarPlay.
The swap turned out to be quick. We reused the mounting kit and wiring harness from the older Alpine for this new radio, which made the installation straightforward. The Alpine iLX-F309 radio offers a large, 9-inch touchscreen that is adjustable to match any dashboard angle. In addition, connecting an iPhone launches CarPlay instantly to provide easy access to his music and navigation, provided directly from his phone.
